$ 2,500.00

Virginia Ebelacker was the first daughter of noted potter Margaret Tafoya.  She was known for large-sized pottery as well as her deeply carved designs.  This bowl is a classic shape with a carved band around the center. The designs are swirling clouds, mesas, and lighting designs. The designs are carved in two sections.  The rim and base of the bowl are also fully polished.  The bowl is signed on the bottom in the clay, ‘Virginia Ebelacker”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  Her sons Richard and James are both known for their distinctive large pottery.
