Shelley Edaakie (b. 1982) is a daughter of Gibbs and Bobbie Othole.  She has a background in Fine Art Photography and graphic design, as well as making pottery.  This canteen sits at an angle and it is fully designed.  One side has a parrot and sash designs. The opposite side has a woodpecker. Separating them are water designs.  The jar is signed on the bottom, “Shelley Edaakie”.  It is a wonderfully complex piece that is beautifully painted.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
