Jody Folwell is known for her creative pottery shapes and designs.  This jar is one of her classic jars with a high shoulder and short neck.  The opening on the jar is asymmetric in shape.   The piece is fully polished and traditionally fired.  The firing uses cow manure and the colors range from brown to black.  It is a striking and modern appearing vessel.  It is signed on the bottom, “Jody”.
