Jody Folwell is known for her creative pottery shapes and designs.  This jar is from the 1980s’.  It is coil-built and thin walled.  The neck of the jar is fully polished and the remainder is matte.  The jar has three wolves and two buffalo in raised relief. They are sculptural in appearance, with texturized fur and a matte surface.  The jar is fully etched with lightning designs across the matte surface.  The color, complexity, and creativity of this jar make it a spectacular piece of her pottery.  The jar is signed on the bottom, “Jody”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
