Polly Rose Folwell is known for use of classic designs on her traditional inspired Santa Clara pottery.  She learned to make pottery from her mother, Jody Folwell.   This jar is fully polished.  The designs are a series of “pottery shards’ which are etched into the clay.  They are the various designs which Polly has used on her pottery for years. They create a strong visual contrast to the highly polished surface.  The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
