This is a tall jar by Susan Folwell.  It is coil-built and has a creative shape that provides a lot of surface design.  The jar has both polished and matte surface.  There are birds and stars.  The stars are created by by the Folwell family “x’s”.  Susan said the circles with the horizontal lines etched into them are the moon in its various phases.  The jar is polished both tan and red.  It is a complex and visually striking piece!  It is signed, “Susan Folwell”.  The jar is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
