This is a classic small bowl by Susan Folwell.  She is one of the exciting innovators in Pueblo pottery.  This small bowl is coil-built and stone polished.  It is fully etched with airplanes and the Folwell family “x’s”.  There is a raised dragonfly near the rim.  Susan has used airplanes as a modern metaphor for the flight of the dragonflies.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Susan Folwell”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
