Glendora Fragua is known for her polished and intricately incised pottery.  This tall jar is coil-built, thin-walled, and fully polished tan.  The jar is painted with dragonflies and angular cloud designs.  The imagery is highlighted with red clay slips. Dragonflies are the “prayer messengers” in Pueblo art.  The rim of the jar is undulating and painted black with red dots.  The jar is signed on the bottom with a corn stalk, Glendora’s hallmark.
