Glendora Fragua is known for her intricately incised pottery.  This jar is from 1984.  It has a high shoulder and it is fully polished red.  The jar has an etched Hemis Katsina on one side.  It is surrounded by a feather and tightly etched geometric designs. It is complex for the size.  It is one of her larger early pieces and is amazingly complex.  The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay with Glendora’s corn hallmark.
