This is a lidded bowl by Glendora Fragua. The piece is polished brown, the natural color of the clay. The front is polished a deep red and etched with a turtle as the design. The turtle is highlighted with additional clay slips. The lid is also polished brown in coloration. There is a single inset piece of lapis in the turtle. The jar is signed on the bottom with Glendora’s corn hallmark.
