$ 675.00

Glendora Fragua is known for her polished and intricately incised pottery.  This tall jar is coil-built, thin-walled, and fully polished tan.  The jar has two medallions, each with a turtle in the center surrounded by feathers.  Each turtle has various colorations that are painted on the polished surface.  They are each inset with a single piece of jet.  Separarting them is a mountain design.  The rim of the jar has rounded or scalloped edges.  The jar is signed on the bottom with a corn stalk, Glendora’s hallmark.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
