Glendora Fragua is known for her polished and intricately incised pottery.  This piece is slipped tan (the natural color of the clay) and then etched.  The top is slipped red and there is an etched corn plant.  To the right of the corn are cloud and rain designs, along with an inset piece of lapis.  The piece is signed on the bottom with a corn stalk, Glendora’s hallmark.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
