Glendora Fragua is known for her polished and intricately incised pottery. This wide, fully polished red bowl with a shape shoulder.  The bottom is etched with a corn design. The top has a kiva step opening.  There are four bears etched into the clay.  Each bear has a sun and star design.  Separating them are bird tails and star panels.  It is a wonderfully visual and intricate piece.  There are four inset pieces of malachite for the eyes of the bears.  The piece is signed on the bottom with a corn stalk, Glendora’s hallmark.
