This is a classic bowl by Gloria Garcia.  It is fully polished and fired black, and then incised with design.  There are four “prancing deer” as the design.  The are etched in the classic Pueblo style and one has dots while the other three have cloud designs.  The bowl is signed on the bottom, “Golden Rod”, which is Gloria’s name in Tewa.
