This bowl by Gloria Garcia is fully polished and fired black. The designs are etched into the clay.  There are two scenes with realistic bears.  There are two sections with Mimbres beras.  There is an additional red clay slip added to the designs of the bowl.  Gloria’s combination of polishing and etched designs is always striking.  This piece is signed on the bottom with her Tewa name “GoldenRod”.
