This is an intricately designed seedpot by Gloria Garcia.  The seedpot is fully polished and fired black.  It is etched with three hummingbirds and four butterflies.  There is also a flower with etched sunface centers. The hummingbirds, butterflies, and flowers are all highlighted with red clay slips.  Gloria’s combination of polishing and etched designs is always striking.  This piece is signed on the bottom with her Tewa name “GoldenRod”.
