Tina Garcia was well known for her focus on traditional shapes and plainware Santa Clara pottery.  Each piece was coil-built from native clay, stone polished, and traditionally fired. This small water jar has a double shoulder, or “rainbow ridge”. There is a slight turned out at the rim.  The jar is fully polished and fired black.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Tina Garcia”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
