5.75"w x 6.75"h
$ 850.00
Tina Garcia was well known for her focus on traditional shape and plainware Santa Clara pottery. This water jar has a sharp shoulder that slightly indents before it extends to the rim. The neck has two bear paws impressed into the clay. The bear paws are part of a story where a bear led the Pueblo people to water during a drought. The jar is fully stone polished and fired black. It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Tina Garcia”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
