This bowl by John Gonzales is from 1998. It is one of the few miniatures we have seen of his work.  The bowl is coil built and etched with a water serpent (avanyu) encircling the bowl.  There is a single inset piece of turquoise for the eye.  The piece is a matte tan coloration.  The bowl is signed, “John Gonzales”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
