This bowl is one of the very few red pieces we have had by Juanita Gonzales.  It is carved in the cameo style which Juanita learned from Rose Gonzales.  It has a cloud and wave design carved into the clay, encircling the piece.  The bowl is highly polished and the red is a deep coloration.  The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.    The bowl is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Juanita”.   It is great to find one of their red pieces in such wonderful condition!
