Robert Gonzales is a son of Lorenzo Gonzales and a brother of John Gonzales and Marie Gonzales.  He is married to Barbara Gonzales.  This is one of the few pieces of his work we have had in the gallery.  It is a micaceous clay bear with a polychrome bird painted on the side.  The bear has additional turquoise for the eyes, and there is a turquoise for the eye of the bird. The back has a feather bundle.  It is signed in the clay on the foot.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
