Carol Gutierrez is a daughter of noted potter Helen Gutierrez and a sister of Geraldine Gutierrez, Kathy, and Rose Gutierrez. This jar has a sharp shoulder and a sloping neck. It is fully polished. The jar has a series of painted feathers on the shoulder. It is fired to a glossy silvery gunmetal coloration. The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Carol Naranjo Gutierrez”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
