Denny Gutierrez was known for his faceted melon bowls.  However, he also created exceptional painted vessels. This round bowl is fully polished and painted with very tightly painted feathers.  There are 30 feathers encircling the bowl.  Note how they are painted at a slight angle.  The bowl is polished to a glossy shine.  It is from 1991.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Denny Gutierrez”.
