Denny Gutierrez was known for his faceted melon bowls.  However, he also created exceptional painted vessels. This bowl is round in shape with a short neck. There are 42 feathers painted around the shoulder.  Note how they have a slight angle.  Above the feathers are cloud designs.  The bowl is polished to a glossy shine.  It is from 1987.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Denny Gutierrez”.
