Denny Gutierrez was known for his faceted melon bowls.  However, he also created exceptional painted vessels. This bowl is fully polished and painted with very tightly painted feathers.  There are 42 feathers encircling the bowl.  Below the feathers, there are six cloud designs.  The bowl is polished to a glossy shine.  It is from 1987.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Denny Gutierrez”.
