Drew Lewis was a son of noted potter Lucy M. Lewis.  This smaller bowl is a classic of his painted designs.  It captures the work his mother and sisters with the graphic lightning pattern.  The designs extend from the rim to the base.  The bowl is signed on the bottom, “Drew Lewis”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
