Emma Lewis was a daughter of noted potter Lucy M. Lewis.  This is one of her classic plates.  It is painted with a flower design in the center using bee-weed (a plant).  The rim of the plate is corrugated in a triangular pattern.  It is signed on the side of the rim, “Emma Lewis”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
