This is a classic style water jar by Eric Lewis.  It has a high shoulder and a short neck. The jar is fully painted and there is a hummingbird in flight. The way Eric has painted the wings gives the piece the impression of the bird in motion!  The remainder of the jar has cloud and rain imagery.  The designs flow perfectly across the jar and emphasize the form. The jar is signed on the bottom, “Eric Lewis”.
