Diane Lewis-Garcia is known for her tightly painted miniature pottery.  This is one of her very intricately painted seedpots.  The top is painted with a very detailed Acoma bird in the center.  Note the delicate plants and the intricate patterns for the wings!  It is surrounded by a sunflower design painted in subtle clay colors.  The seeppot has a variety of colors, each from natural clay slips.  It is signed on the bottom, “D. Lewis-Garcia”.
