Diane Lewis-Garcia is known for her tightly painted miniature pottery.  This is one of her very intricately painted seedpots.  The top is painted with two Mimbres lizards in the center.  They are surrounded by tightly painted rain designs.  The seedpot is highlighted with green and red clay slips to add to the coloration.  It is signed on the bottom, “D. Lewis”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
