Diane Lewis-Garcia is known for her tightly painted miniature pottery. This is one of her very intricately painted small jars. The jar has a wide shoulder and short neck. It is painted above the shoulder with flute players. Below them are mountains and butterfly wings. The piece is painted with bee-weed (black) and a variety of colors of natural clay slips. The coloration and detail create a very striking piece! It is signed on the bottom, “D. Lewis-Garcia”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.

There is a butterfly underneath a colorful rainbow. The upper edge has cloud and star designs. The piece is painted with bee-weed (black) and a variety of colors of natural clay slips.
