Diane Lewis-Garcia is known for her tightly painted miniature pottery.  This is one of her very intricately painted seedpots.  The top is painted with three Mimbres lizards.  The side has overlapping flower petals, each with fineline designs and highlighted with various clay colors.  The piece is painted with bee-weed (black) and a variety of colors of natural clay slips.   The coloration and detail create a very striking piece!  It is signed on the bottom, “Diane Lewis-Garcia”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
