Diane Lewis-Garcia is known for her tightly painted miniature pottery.  This is a striking jar that is coil-built and painted with bee-weed (black) and clay slips.  There are colorful rainbows and fine-line rain designs flowing across the surface of the jar.  The inside of the rim even has rounded rain clouds!  It is a complex and visually striking use of form, color, and design.  It is signed on the bottom, “D. Lewis-Garcia”.
