Diane Lewis-Garcia is known for her tightly painted miniature pottery.  This is one of her smaller water jars. The jar is painted with bee-weed (black) and clay slips.  There are rain clouds and rising sun designs across the surface of the piece.  It is a complex and visually striking use of form, color, and design.  It is signed on the bottom, “D. Lewis-Garcia”.
