Diane Lewis-Garcia is known for her tightly painted miniature pottery.  This is an intricately designed seedpot that is painted with bee-weed (black) and clay slips.  There is an Acoma bird in the center.  The edge has a corn design.  The colors are all derived from native clays and add to the impact of the design.  It is signed on the bottom, “D. Lewis-Garcia”.
