Diane Lewis-Garcia is known for her tightly painted miniature pottery.  This is an intricately designed seedpot that is painted with bee-weed (black) and clay slips.  There is a large multi-color flower painted on the top of the piece.  The colors are all derived from native clays and add to the impact of the design.  It is signed on the bottom, “D. Lewis-Garcia”.
