Gloria Anne Lewis is a daughter of Anne Lewis (1925-2016) and a granddaughter of Lucy M. Lewis. This is only the second piece of her pottery we have had in the gallery. It is a classic water jar with a high shoulder and short neck.  The jar has four medallions with Mimbres figures. Each medallion is different.  They are separated by fine-line that create star patterns.  The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Gloria Lewis”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.  It comes with a photo (yes, a real photograph!) of Gloria holding the jar.
