Rosemary Lewis (1952-2022) was known for her traditional Santa Clara potters.  Rosemary was a daughter of Olaria Sisneros.  She was married to Travis Lewis who often helped with her pottery and was inspired by Mary Cain.  This bowl is coil-built and carved.  There is a flute player on one side, which was a signature of her pottery.  The remainder has cloud, lightning, and rain designs carved into the clay.  It is signed “Rose Lewis’.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
