plate is very intricately painted with a flower pattern. The remainder are a series of rain lines that swirl around the plate. It is a dynamic and very intricate piece of her pottery! The plate is signed on the back, “S. Lewis”.

Sharon Lewis has developed her own very distinctive style of painted design. Her pieces are beautifully formed, thin-walled and then tightly painted. This plate is very intricately painted. There are two Mimbres figures along with a Mimbres insect. Surrounding them are a vareity of classic Acoma designs painted in black and some highlighted with various clay colors. It is a dynamic and very intricate piece of her pottery! The plate is signed on the back, “S. Lewis”.
