1.5"w x 1.5"h

$ 650.00

Greg Lonewolf is the son of Joseph Lonewolf and is known for his intricately incised miniatures.  This seedpot has three Mimbres-inspired quail on one side, etched into a polished background. As the piece is turned, there is a quail family with a mother and three small quail.  There is also a Mimbres bee and a Zia style sun.  The top has a flower design etched into the clay.  There is a lot of detail for the size and lots of coloration!  The piece is highly polished red and the designs were etched into the clay.  All the colors are from natural clay slips.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Greg Lonewolf”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
