This is a classic multi-color seedpot by Rosemary Lonewolf and one of the few she fired black.  Rosemary learned to make pottery from her father, Joseph Lonewolf.  This piece is fully polished.  The top has two hummingbirds and flowers.  Around the side is another hummingbird and more flowers.  All the designs are etched into the clay and then highlighted with various clay slips to create the coloration.  The seedpot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Apple Blossom”.  While Rosemary no longer makes many traditional-style pottery pieces, her miniatures remain a classic!
