This is a traditional seedpot by Rosemary Lonewolf from 1975.  It is fully polished and fully designed.  On one side is the etched rising sun and the opposite has the setting sun. Separating them are cloud designs.  The piece was designed before it was fired. The lighter red areas are where the polished red has been lightly etched away. The tan areas are where more clay has been etched away.  The piece is signed on the bottom “Apple Blossom”, which is her name in Tewa.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
