Elizabeth Lovato is a daughter of Donicia Tafoya and a sister of Juan Tafoya.  This seedpot is coil-built, stone polished, etched, and fired black.  The piece has a stylized butterfly on one side and flute player on the other side.  They are both two-toned sienna. There are two inset pieces of turquoise.  The piece is signed, “Elizabeth Lovato” on the bottom.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
