Beverly Martinez (1960-91) was a granddaughter of Santana & Adam Martinez and a great-granddaughter of Maria Martinez. She was a sister of Marvin Martinez and Johnny Cruz. Her pottery was beautifully polished and painted and she was featured in the 1974 “7 Families in Pueblo Pottery” exhibition. This jar has a sharp shoulder and elongated neck. It is fully polished and painted with a classic feather design. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair. It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Beverly”.
