This is a large seedpot by Grace Medicine Flower is from 1976.  It is fully polished and etched on the entire surface.  There are flowers, birds, and butterflies.  Every butterfly is unique as are each of the birds!  She captured a lot of movement in the birds as they are in flight or on the branches.  The background matte area there with the small circles, which Grace only did for a brief period as it was so time-consuming.  It is a wonderfully complex seedpot!  The piece is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Grace Medicine Flower”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks restoration or repair.
