5"w x 5"h

$ 575.00

Marcellus Medina is known for his contemporary painted pottery.  The jar is made by his wife, Elizabeth Medina.  Marcellus has painted on the surface with acrylic. The jar is amazing with the three dancers.  There is a Bear, Deer, and Antelope Dancer in each section. The detail in each figure from the position of the legs to the fur and feathers is amazing.  Check out the precision of the painting of the turquoise necklace on the Deer Dancer!  Separating each figure are classic Zia cloud designs. Simply spectacular!   The jar is signed on the bottom, “Marcellus Medina, Elizabeth Medina: Potter”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
