Moquino, Corn – Black & Sienna Jar with Hummingbirds (1980s)

This jar by Corn Moquino is black and sienna in coloration.  The piece was fully polished, the etched with the design, and finally, the “two-tone” sienna on the birds and flowers was added.  There are three realistic hummingbirds and flowers on the neck of the jar.  Below the shoulder are etched clouds and a river.  The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Corn Moquino”.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
