Jennifer Moquino is known for her clay vessels and also her amazing animal figures. This bear is fired black.  It is fully polished on its back.  There is a feather pattern along with six old style dragonflies etched into the clay.  Below the dragonflies is a sunset design.  The arms of the bear are fully designed with a lightning pattern.  The bear paws are even etched on the front!  All the various colors are derived from natural clay slips.  Jennifer continues to be one of the leading innovative potters working today!
