This jar by Jennifer Moquino is an elegant shape. On each side is are birds etched into the clay.  On one side there are two Baltimore Orioles.  They are surrounded by more deeply etched designs along with flowers and a feather pattern.  The opposite side has a beautifully etched Cedar Waxwing.  There are berries on the branch and it is surrounded by a feather pattern.  The remainder of the jar is fully polished to a high shine.  The colors are all derived from natural clay slips.  The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay.
