Les Namingha has, over the years, creatively changed his pottery with new painting and technical styles. This jar has straight sides and as sloping neck. The top of the jar has spiraling feathers. The side is painted with a large band of Zuni birds.  There are parrots, quail, rainbirds and others.  Les has painted them in a minimalist style in black and red.  There is modernist appearance to them as they interconnect on the piece.  Near the base are rain designs.  The jar is signed on the bottom, “Les Namingha”.
